It gives me immense pride and joy to share that our parent institution, Pune Vidyarthi Griha, founded in 1908, has been a beacon of education and values for over 116 years. Continuing this glorious legacy, Muktangan English School and Junior College, Pune–9, has completed 48 years of excellence in nurturing young minds.

To keep pace with the ever-evolving world, we continuously upgrade our teaching methodologies. Smart classrooms and E-learning platforms have been integrated into our curriculum, equipping students with the tools and techniques needed for success in the digital age.

Our spacious playground reflects our belief in the importance of physical development and teamwork. Under the guidance of specialized national-level coaches, students receive training in Archery, Taekwondo, Skating, Mallakhamb, Baketball and Boxing —sports that instil discipline and confidence. It fills us with pride that our students have excelled in State, National, and International tournaments.
For our younger learners, programs like BalSanskar Varg, Fitness Club and Drawing Classes foster moral values and creativity. The Chess Club enhances strategic thinking and social interaction, while ‘Future Tech Sundays’ open the doors to the exciting worlds of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Coding, preparing students for the innovations of the 21st century. We also conduct Abacus and Vedic Maths classes to strengthen mental agility and concentration.
At Muktangan, we take equal pride in our rich cultural heritage. Through our annual cultural gathering, music, dance, and drama become platforms for self-expression and creativity. We joyfully celebrate festivals such as Guru Pournima, Ashadhi Ekadashi, Raksha Bandhan, Holi, Makar Sankranti, Gopalkala, and Diwali, keeping our traditions alive and meaningful. By blending cultural education with modern learning, we aim to nurture students who are both rooted in tradition and ready for the future.
Our students are also inspired through interactions with eminent guests and achievers, whose experiences ignite curiosity and broaden horizons. We provide a bus facility for convenience and an in-house counsellor to support students’ emotional well-being.
