N.C.C. (National Cadet Corps)
n the academic year 2001-2002, our school obtained sanction for Junior Wing Girls N.C.C (Army) with the help of 2nd Maharashtra Girl’s Battalion.The girl cadets join N.C.C. in std. VIII. These cadets appear for ‘A’ certificate examination in std.IX. Parades are conducted once a week.
Girl cadets were awarded general championship in Annual Training Camp.
5 Cadets were selected for Republic Day Parade.
4 Cadets had won Best Cadet Award.
Muktangan English School and Jr. College started N.C.C. Air wing branch in 2020. Under the guidance of Third Officer Shruti Kamble, the first batch of this branch participated in combined annual training from 5th December to 12th December 2022. The camp was held at Headquarters, Pune. The camp was a great success for the school.
In this camp, Cadet Nupur Dubey won gold medal as best girl cadet and student Tejas Vanshiv as best boy cadet. Cadet Yuvraj Kale bagged the gold medal for best in shooting. Apart from these individual medals, ‘Muktangan English School’ also bagged the runner-up trophy in drill, runner-up trophy in throwball and overall runner-up trophy for all performances. Also, Muktangan School received the cultural winner trophy.
