Ashadhi Ekadashi

We celebrate Ashadhi Ekadashi every year with great enthusiasm in the Pre-Primary Section of our school. All the children dress up as Lord Vitthal, Rakhumai or Warkari. They chant “Vitthal Vitthal Jay Hari Vitthal” when Palakhi Procession is held. On the occasion of Ashadhi Ekadashi, we organise Marathi Recitation Competition for these children.

International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day is celebrated every June 21. On that day, the teachers explain the importance of Yoga to all the children. On that occasion the teachers teach these small children some Asanas, which the enjoy very much.

Plantation Day

We celebrate Plantation Day in our school on 1st July every year. Teachers explain the children the importance of Tree Plantation. Various activities are conducted on that day.

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan means the bond of love and care between brother and sister, telling this importance we celebrate this festival with full of joy in our school. Drawing of Rakhi and Colouring activity is also taken on that day. We provide them Rakhi and they tie it to each other.

Gokulashtami

Every year Gokulashtami is celebrated with great joy in our school. All the children dress up as Radha and Lord Krishna. Dahihandi is also broken at that time. We take different activities on this occasion. Children enjoy this festival a lot.

Grand Parent’s Day

Every year Grand Parent’s Day is celebrated in a very nice way in our school. The enthusiasm of grandparents is very admirable. Small activities are conducted specially for them. Apart from that, they are given an opportunity to express their feelings.

Ganesh Festival

Ganpati Bappa, the most favourite god of children. During these 10 days of Ganesh Festival, children sing Lord Ganesha’s “Aarati” everyday and various activities are also conducted.

Navratri

We celebrate Navratri with different activities in our school. The teachers give information about Navratri and its importance to all the children. Bhondla is played during this festival in Maharashtra so we also get Bhondla played by these children in our school.

Refreshment

Every year Refreshment is given to all the children by the school. Children are given full meal in it and they enjoy this delicious food very much.

Sports Day

We inculcate Sports habits in these children at the early age. So we conduct Sports Day for these kids too. We take different types of games like running race, hopping race, pack the bag and catch the bus etc.

Annual Social Gathering

Annual Social Gathering is the most awaited and important event of the year, in which children can showcase their talent. All the teachers encourage the children to participate in this. Teachers and children take lot of efforts to put up different programmes. The children who excel in different competitions get appreciation on that day.

Ram Lalla Pratishthapana

This year Ram Lalla Pratishthapana was celebrated on 22nd January with great enthusiasm in Ayodhya and with equal enthusiasm in Muktangan English School. Children took a round to the school chanting “Jay Shriram” with small orange flags.
